Then they’ll take a test in social cognition, which focuses on how people perceive, evaluate and process information.
Students will study a range of topics, including the relationship between the brain and culture, the role of media in shaping social perception, and the social impact of technology.
In addition to the coursework, they’ll be expected to work on a project related to the subject.
Students in the social sciences major are expected to take a general sociology course and complete an internship.
